A new documentary claims to have solved one of the greatest mysteries of the 21th century: the true identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of the world’s first and most valuable cryptocurrency.
The documentary said Hal Finney and Len Sassaman, both renowned cryptographers, worked together to create bitcoin during the 2008 global financial crisis. Both died years ago.
"Finding Satoshi,"which premieres today, chronicles a four-year investigation by journalist William D. Cohan and private investigator Tyler Maroney into the genesis of bitcoin and its elusive creator.
